Workplace Assessments
Workplace risk assessments help organisations meet WHS obligations while building healthier, more productive environments. COPSOQ offers a validated and trusted way to identify psychosocial risks and strengths within your workplace.
Initial Assessment and Planning
We work with you to scope the assessment so it reflects your organisation’s structure and needs. Together, we:
-
We work with you to map out how your organisation is structured — such as departments, teams or job roles. This ensures results are meaningful and actionable at the right levels.
-
Employees can access COPSOQ through a secure online platform, paper forms, or — on request — telephone surveys. All responses are anonymous to protect confidentiality and build trust in the process.
-
Clear communication is critical. We supply template schedules, messages and information sheets to help managers and employee reps explain the purpose, timing and value of the survey.
-
The survey typically stays open for 3–4 weeks. Reminders are sent to encourage participation and ensure a reliable response rate.
Implementation, Reporting and Action
Once data collection is complete, our team:
-
We ensure anonymity by only reporting on groups of 5 or more. Data is presented at both the whole-organisation and team/unit levels, so you can see the big picture while also understanding local differences.
-
Results are compared with Australian reference values. This highlights areas where your workplace is performing strongly, as well as where psychosocial risks may be elevated.
-
Reports include visual summaries, group-level comparisons, and recommendations for action. They are designed to be accessible for leadership teams, employee representatives, and staff alike.
-
We can facilitate workshops, provide training, or connect you with trusted partners to help translate survey results into practical changes in the workplace.
